... I told you do not hurt this horse. He is my favorite character; I am emotionally invested.

That being said, this is my favorite chapter of yours yet. The magic is finally sort of making sense to me (ish), but I know that you are slowly unfolding it as to not info dump.

To your comment, I still like Thrain. I don't know if it makes me understand him more, but he is badass. I am excited to see what happens with the Priestess.

Thank you!! Glad you enjoyed it, I had the most fun writing this chapter so far too. With the magic system, my hope is that what we've seen so far makes "enough" sense. Tylen is about to get trained in it, and that is my planned spot to tell the readers how it all works.
